Ty Segall - My Sunshine

One Of A Kind

If memory serves, it’s been weeks since the last time I posted a mix. So I decided to select and arrange a few jams I really like. A theme? Not really. The order of the tracks is important. There’s all kind of music here - happy songs, sad songs, rock, electronic, whatever. Most of them were released/will be released in 2010. And well, you might like them.

Summer mix -pt. 2-

The second mix. Rock jams for your ears. A few of them are pretty fast, while others are more acceptable for those who like mellow/slow stuff. I could easily spend an entire week next to the beach with weed, beer and these songs. And please read at the bottom the reason why I included a Pavement song.

Well, it’s titled ‘Watch The Sun Rise”. Enjoy!

Now, why Pavement??

Cut Your Hair was released in 1994. It was included on their second album, “Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain”. In the beginning of 2010, Pavement’s Best Of was released and I could remember how much I like this song. I didn’t include a song released in 2008 or 2009 like all those guys who did believing a certain song was released this year (examples: The Drums, Delphic, Washed Out, Animal Collective, even Best Coast), I’m including a classic song and I’m making sure you know the reason. It fits so good, come on. And you might like it if you haven’t heard it yet.
